A Weihrauch HW 35 ‘Export’ factory right hand stocked .22 Calibre Air Rifle. Serial number 638294 which dates this rifle to circa 1976/1977.
This is an excellent example of this most iconic of Weihrauch’s spring powered air rifles.
The blueing on both the barrel and action is in very good order with only the odd minor mark to the finish.
The factory, right hand orientated, walnut stock features a nice grain and is in good condition with no splits or cracks it has a few minor marks to the finish but nothing serious. The stock is complete with its pistol grip cap and white spacer, factory fitted sling fitting and rubber butt pad.
The rifle has its original front tunnel sight, rear adjustable open sight and factory barrel band sling attachment.
It is also fitted with a rare Weihrauch diopter sight. This is removable should it be required however it does aid precision target shooting. Interestingly the actual diopter peep hole is one we’ve not encountered previously in that there is no provision for the fitting of a rubber eye piece as in most we’ve seen. Its a scarce addition sight and a great bonus to this rifle.The rifle is fully functioning and cocks and fires without issues.
A very good example of this most classic of German spring powered Air Rifles and now nearly 50 years old !
