In the early 1930’s State Police & Fire Services issued their own buckles bearing State insignia. These buckles were in general alloy with thin insignia plates attached by folding tabs. This is an excellent original 2 piece alloy Westfalen State Police/ Fire Service 2 Piece Alloy Buckle and belt. The front of the pebbled buckle is mounted with the Westfalen State badge secured by the correct 4 folding tabs (see page 326 of German Belt Buckles By Nash). The rear prongs and bar are present and function as they should. There are no manufacturer or date marks on the buckle or belt. The original period black leather belt is 1 ¾” wide, 41” in length and holed for size adjustment. The belt has an original ink stamp '95'. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15390:17
