A World War II era Canadian WD marked single-draw nautical telescope. These telescopes were used by Ship’s 'Officer of the Watch'. Made from solid brass the barrel is wrapped in textured black leather and in the period it has had intricate rope cord lashing applied over the leather to assist grip. It has a sliding brass sun shade. The telescope has an adjusting ring numbered ‘0 5 - 5 – 0’. The draw is crisply marked with Canadian 'broad arrow' set inside of a 'C' ( this Canadian WD mark was discontinued circa 1949). It also has ‘Pattern 373C’ & ‘No. 3284’. Fully extended the scope measures 23 ½”, closed 13”. All optics of the telescope are excellent and function as they should. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 21067
