This a German 20mm MG131/20 (20x82) Practice Meinengeschloss (M geschloss) aircraft cannon round fitted to various German aircraft during WW2, including the Me109, FW190,various night fighters and bomber aircraft. The projectile is a steel practice high capacity Meinengeschloss (M geschloss) type with a iron driving band, alloy nose plug and no trace fitted. The projectile retains about 90% of its original grey paint and is stencilled in black M11/grb over exw18 4g over exw280/44BL Mv . The brass coated steel cartridge case is electric primed.
