2nd World War German Army NCO Peaked Cap

    AccessoriesClothingUsed£ 800

Here is a good example of a very well preserved German Wermarcht non-commissioned officer cap. It comes with its original badges, and chin strap.

The lining is made of good quality mustard coloured silk, with a manufacturers label still attached – JSPERB of Regensburg. The sweat band is made of soft brown leather, reinforced with a cork band on its frontal section. The stitching is correct.

    ~ Dimensions ~

The brim of the cap has a diameter of 20cm. The total length of the item is 26cm, and it has a width of 24cm.

    ~ Condition ~

The overall condition of the cap is excellent, with negligible wear. There is a very small moth hole just above the eagle badge. The lining has sweat mark, and the reverse of the peak has lost its brown colour in some places. The chin strap has the expected age-related burn marks.

    ~ Postage ~

UK postage is £18, international at cost and it can be viewed in our shop.
