With a 25.5cm octagonal Damascus barrel and leaf engraved edge, engraved to the top ‘Bass London’, with flintlock firing action, the side further engraved ‘Bass’, with a decorative trigger guard with urn shaped terminal, ram rod below the barrel, 39cm overall.
John Bass worked with his father-in-law John Twigg and traded as Twigg and Bass from 1788 – 1791, and then on his own until his death in 1794.

In Fine condition throughout and a patina to be expected with its age, The action is strong and locks in both positions with the Frizzen working well. Please see the pictures as these form part of this report.
