~ Circa 1800 Blue And Gilt Lloyds Type British Sabre, Scabbard And Sword Knot ~

The grip is of ivory with etched leaves and applied gilt roses and a medallion to either side. The gently curved blade has a single wide fuller along 2/3rds of its length with blue and gilt work including a stand of arms. It comes with its bullion sword knot and gilt finished scabbard with twin suspension loops.

~ Condition ~

The blade is in exceptionally clean condition with excellent bluing and gilt work.  The grip has a couple of cracks. The sword knot is very tidy with no fraying. The scabbard has general wear, a few dings and a larger dent near the tip.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 87 cm (34.25 inches) in total length with a 75 cm (29.5 inches) blade.
