3D Printed Guns: Will They Affect the Firearms Industry?
News Dealer & Industry News
Here we have an absolutely incredible sword stick from the First French Empire.
The cane has a small ivory or very finely worked bone bust of Napoleon Bonaparte in incredible detail as a cap on the grip.
The cane is manufactured of two parts of a dark hardwood shaft that appears to have retained a bark like texture, the cane is finished with an iron end cap.
The blade is extremely nice, it is a double fullered single edged straight blade rather longer than many sword stick blades, from the shape there is a possibility that this was manufactured from a cut down spadroon, a very common type of military sword of the period.
~ Dimensions ~
The cane is 38.5 (98 cm) long.
The blade is 27.5 (70 cm) long.
The sword stick weighs 505g.
~ Condition ~
The sword stick is in wonderful condition for its age, there is minor discolouration to the blade from age, the ivory or bone appears to have a slight bit of yellowing with age.
The cane has one area that looks to be damaged and repaired.
~ Postage ~
UK postage is £18, international at cost and it can be viewed in our shop.
