~ Circa 1810 French Heavy Cuirassier Sword Stick with Napoleon's Head Pommel ~
An exceptional piece with a blade shaped as a French heavy cuirassier cavalry sword, the sword stick is made of what seems to be cherry wood and bears an ivory pommel shaped like Napoleon's bust.
A brass end-cap filial is protecting the lower end of the scabbard section.
There are no markings on the blade.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in very good condition with a minor repair on the scabbard.
The blade is in very good condition as well.
~ Dimensions ~
The overall length of the piece is 98 cm (38 1/2 inches) and the blade length is 70 cm (27 12 inches).
It weighs 470 grams.
