Peter's Brother Joseph Clabrough operated as a gunsmith at Price Street & 60 Aston Road North, Birmingham between 1868 & 1902. The Clabrough Brothers operated as Gunsmiths under their own names and as 'Clabrough Brothers'. This is a nice brass framed flintlock pocket pistol by Clabrough made C1830. It has a sliding safety, folding concealed trigger and the hammer is fitted with flint. The action works as it should with a strong spring. It has impressed proof /inspection marks on the underside of the frame. The bag shaped wood grip is excellent & undamaged. The price includes UK delivery. NB As an antique flintlock pistol no licence is required to possess this item in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. Sn 10922
