Description
A good example of a Long Branch No4, Mk 1*
This gun is date stamped 1942 and for a gun that is 80+ years old, it is in remarkably good condition.
The stock is deeply coloured and has marks that really add to the character of this gun. There are no major dents or signs of any cracks or repairs. Its possible that the centre top section of the forestock has been replaced. Sling swivels are fitted front and back.
The barrel has some minor pitting but the gun is known to shoot well. The trigger is crisp and the action is smooth. The bolt face is in good condition.
The rear flip-up sight is present and is marked for 300 and 600 yards.
Supplied with 1 magazine and ammunition is available for callers.
Can be seen anytime by appointment in Alton, Hampshire or sent to your local RFD from £30.
