Create my profile now!INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a WW2 (1944 Dated) German High Explosive Round(7.5 x 89R) for the7,5 cm leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18 (7,5 cm le.IG 18) Infantry Support Gun. The gun was the standard German infantry support gun in WW2. The separately loading brass cartridge case has the following head stamp, P 319 17 G 6341 Waa23. The brass screw in primer is stamped C/12Na 53G Rh.S. The unfired steel high explosive projectile has a single iron driving band and is stamped round the circumference B OKW. At the top of the projectile , the two hasves are stamped with the number 7569. The projectile has an alloy nose impact fuse and is stamped LIgr.Z23nA azg (Siemens-Schukert-Werke AG Berlin) 1944 (1944 date). A delay setting with M O and V 0,15 9 and Waa 97.
