This MAS 45 is an original NOS French Army training rifle from, I believe, the early '70's in near mint, unused condition and comes complete with its original 5rd. box magazine and French military sling. It has a parkerized finish, mirror bright bore, heavy barrel and a Mauser action with a disproportionately large and heavy duty bolt for a .22LR rifle which replicates the classic, full-bore Mauser bolt in design. The rifle was at some stage imported into the United States by a well known firearms wholesaler and then somehow made its way over here to the UK seemingly to have never been shot ! The price is based on the new condition of the rifle, its accuracy and value as a collector item. This rifle bears a 2009 London proof. Price £575.00 OBO (GBP) sold separately.
This Beretta 'Olimpia' is an original Italian Army training rifle, manufactured in 1952 and is in near mint condition. It was modeled on the pre-war Walther Model 1 and 2 .22LR rifles at the behest of the Italian military who required a training rifle that could fire in both semi-auto and manual mode. In order to achieve this, the design of the action is almost identical to that of the Walther and field stripping is identical in so much as the receiver is dismounted along with the bolt under spring tension, similar in principal to the larger K/G 43 rifles of the WW2 German military. This 'Olimpia' has an unblemished, all blue finish and flawless stock with finger grasping grooves, a 19.5" extremely heavy, fully floated target barrel with mirror bright bore and comes complete with its 5 rd. box magazine and a NOS Italian military BM59 sling on aftermarket QD swivels. Priced as a scarce collector item in accordance with condition. This rifle bears a valid Italian Gardone, Brescia proof. Price £475.00 OBO (GBP) sold separately.
