This is an Inert unfired German make Masden 20x120 HE (High Explosive) (Without Tracer) round for the Masden 20mm automatic cannon developed in Denmark in the 1920s for the 20mm Madsen automatic cannon, offered in various mountings for aircraft, AA and anti-tank use, although only successful in the AA role. This round retains most of its original finish. The percussion primed, lacquered steel cased round is headstamped M11/5 (a Marine waffenampt) 44 51 dsb . The primer annulus is coloured blue. The yellow painted projectile is stamped M 44cpn2e waffenampt Waa654 . It is also stencilled in black MBr over lko 1/45 EMO waffenampt oL’spur119gr .
