Large, Austrian, Victorian Era, Polished, Flattened Horn Black Powder Flask With Beetz Charger Brass Swivel Head, Inspection Window & Adjustable Measure. A 1005 - A 1005

This is an excellent original complete Austrian , Victorian, Brass Swivel Head Black Powder Flask. It measures 10" overall length and the polished, flattened horn flask is 2 ½” at it's widest point. The horn is un-damaged and has a brass end cap. The horn is fitted with 4 small brass rings and has its original screw thread, brass swivel head ‘Beetz Charger’ nozzle with graduated measures. The nozzle has glazed inspection windows on the left and right sides (see page 424 and image 1411 of The Powder flask Book by Riling). There are no visible manufacturer or date marks on the flask but the nozzle has a small number ‘1066’. The price includes UK delivery. A 1005
