    ~ Rare Soviet Suppressed Tokarev TT33 ~

This new spec. deavivated pistol is dated 1949 and was produced in Izhevsk.

The serial number H365 is stamped twice: once on the left hand side just on top of the grip (also with a proof mark, the makers mark and year of production) and a second time on the top of the cartridge ejection system.

The magazine is stamped serial E32237.

The calibre of the Tokarev is 7.62mm.

This suppressed TT33 is unusual, in that the suppressor unit fits to the front of the slide, not the barrel.

This does two things: One, it makes it a single shot weapon, as the combined weight of the suppressor and slide will not cycle the action. Therefore it is extremely quiet for deliberate, aimed fire.

Two, it is possible to fire the weapon like a pump action for close range, multiple targets. You simply grasp the knurled section of the tube with your weak hand and after firing a shot, simply push back and pull forward to cycle the action for the next shot.

Typical simple, Soviet solution to a complicated problem. The Tokarev was a reliable, well-made pistol and is based on a Browning type action. Millions were made in Russia and China, and several other communist countries from 1933 until the late 1960s. They are a very tough weapon and capable of taking a lot of abuse. They are still in use to this day, all over the world and many have been captured in Afghanistan recently.

The deactivation certificate is dated 16/07/2002.

    ~ Dimensions ~

The suppressors length is 21.9 cm (8.6 inches) and it's diameter is 3.5 cm.

The pistol length is 21.5 cm (8.5 inches).

The overall length of the pistol and suppressor is 41.6 cm (16.4 inches).

The weight of the set is 1.3 kg.

    ~ Condition ~

The pistol is in very good used condition, minor wear and the grips are complete. The suppressor's metal link with the pistol frame has a bit of movement.
