Three stripped receivers for sale, great for display on their own or to make a discounted civil war/wild west carbine! They came from a retired gunsmith in Texas.
1. Spencer model 1865, (56-56 Rimfire) as used in the Indian wars of the West and even in General Custer's last stand. Has turned a nice dark patina over time with some light pitting but still very solid. Barrel threads are very good. Circa 1867 Serial 32xx3

2. Burnside Carbine (.54 Burnside) receiver, again has turned a dark patina over the years with some light pitting on the outside. No pitting inside the receiver and very solid. Barrel threads and screw threads are almost "as new". Serial 16039 dates it to circa 1863 government contract at the height of the civil war.
