The steel barrels decorated and inlaid with much silver decoration and stamped with the makers poinçons CAMS in a shield at the breech. The maker using the stamp CAMS is most probably Antonio Camps who was active in Spain circa 1760. Brass ramrod pipes, trigger guards and engraved brass butt-caps. In very good condition and working order. These pistols were made at exactly the right period in history to have been carried during the American Revolutionary war 1775-1783, as well as during the French Revolution circa 1789-1799, and into the Napoleonic era 1799-1815. Calibre approx .65 cal. Some very minor dings and scratches. Barrel length 9.5 inches. Overall length 15 inches.
