Circa 1780- 1800. Both pistols are engraved on the side-plate with the makers name HOLLIS. The other side-plate of each pistol is engraved LONDON. 1.5 inch blued turn off barrels. Fine chequered grips with hexagon shaped escutcheons. Lion head butt-caps. Drop down triggers. Sliding top safeties. British proof marks. Complete in a dark pink lined travelling case with accessories, including a copper flask, Bullet mold, steel barrel key and cleaning brush. The pistols are approximately 6 inches in length. The mahogany case has a round brass inlay in the lid box size is 8.5 x 7.5 inches. Actions in good working order. In very good condition retaining much of their original finish. Ref 3785.
