American Marlin Safety Model (Winchester Model 1892) .44 Calibre Lever Action Rifle With Tube Magazine. UK/EU 2020 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED Sn 21576 - 21576

This is a very good Marlin lever action rifle similar in design to the Winchester Model 1892. It has all of its original woodwork and has blued metalwork. It has a 24” barrel and measures 41 ¾” overall. The top of the barrel is marked with the Marlin Fire-Arms Co. New Haven address & patents. It has an external hammer & full length tube magazine. The top of the action is marked 'Marlin Safety'. The underside of the frame is stamped with number '98255'. The action tang is marked ‘Model 1892’. It has a steel butt plate, blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2020 the weapon’s under lever, external hammer & trigger move.
