Bertrand Stewart of the West Kent Imperial Yeomanry. This manual covers such items as reconnaissance, despatch riding, scouting, field sketching etc. and is profusely illustrated. The second volume is a guide for N.C.Os commanding rifle an light automatic sections entitled ‘infantry section leading’ and is dated 1934. This volume covers such items as rifle company weapons and their characteristics and includes rifles, grenades and revolvers. This volume also covers working with supporting arms such as tanks and aircraft, covering different types of fighting such as street and house to house. This manual is profusely illustrated. The third manual covers the Corps of Military Police and is dated 1936. This manual covers organization and powers, duties, service in the field etc. this is a comprehensive guide to the duties of the Military Police.
