WW1 French Berthiot Paris 3-1282 Societe D' Optique Brass Trench Periscope. Sn 17481 - 17481

SOM (Société d'Optique ) Berthiot or Berthiot in short was a French optical company founded in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. The Company made quality cameras and optical equipment, including trench periscopes for use in WW1. This is an original Berthiot trench periscope. It is in excellent condition with fully functional optics. It measures 26” length and can be unscrewed into 3 sections. The brass retains traces of original grey paint. The scope is marked ‘Societe D' Optique Berthiot Paris 3-1282’. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 17481
