This is an original WW1 Era Leather Spare Horseshoe Carrier With Integral Frog & Saddle Straps For British 1908 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Troopers Sword Scabbard. The sturdy leather carrier is in near mint unissued condition with correct brass riveted integral frog, securing strap with buckle and saddle attachment strap with eyelet. The inside of the carrier has a small pouch with flap for nails or ammunition All leather & stitching are clean and intact. Inset in image 2 a Horseshoe carrier frog attached to a 1908 pattern sword scabbard is illustrated. The price includes UK delivery.
