Create my profile now!This British 1901 ‘1888’ MkII Bayonet is stamped to the ricasso with ‘8 01 1901’ (August 1901) and ‘Sanderson Sheffield’ to one side and the other carries the broad arrow over an inspection stamp. The pommel is stamped with ‘8 LAN’ (8th Battalion The Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment) and a No4. The scabbard is the standard MkI and is nicely marked to the rear with a broad arrow over ‘EFD’ and several inspection stamps. See Skennerton item B215, pages 170-173. The bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition only showing minor signs of wear as the pictures show. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 792.
