~ C1830’s Transitional Revolver ~
Here we have a transitional revolver made in the interesting time when percussion caps and revolving cylinders became popular but before the Colt style of revolver took off commercially.
The revolver’s steel frame is decorated with foliate engravings and fitted with chequered walnut grips attached to the steel frame with a central screw and nut.
The pistol operates well and indexes on each shot, occasionally struggling for the trigger to return.
The pistol has some wear but that makes this a brilliant opportunity for this pistol for a novice collector hoping for a transitional piece.
~ Dimensions ~
The pistol is 8 inches (20 cm) long.
The barrels are 3 inches (7.5 cm) long.
The pistol weighs 610g.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is in a good albeit worn example with some cosmetic damage.
The pistol indexes well enough but has some issues with the trigger return after the shot sometimes.
~ Postage ~
UK postage is £20 or it can be inspected in our shop.
