Create my profile now!The National Security Corps (Czech: Sbor národní bezpečnosti; SNB; Slovak: Zbor národnej bezpečnosti; NB / ZNB) was the national police in Czechoslovakia from 1945 to 1991.This is a Cold War era Czech National Security Police VZOR 70 (CZ70) Pistol. The VZOR70 was only in production from 1970-1983. This example has matching numbers 690472 on its breech and slide. The overall design is very similar to the German Walther PP of the same era. As with all Czech made weapons the quality is always to a very high standard. The pistol’s breech has 7.65mm calibre detail and the slide & frame have CZ’s Czech address. The front of the grip frame is stamped with the Secuiry Police ‘NB’ mark and armoury number ‘50’. The pistol has open sights and retains its original blue finish. It’s wrap around chequered panel black plastic pistol grips are undamaged**Deactivated to UK specification in 2010 the pistol cocks and dry fires correctly in both single & double action, its safety catch works & its magazine can be removed.
