DEACTIVATED INERT. Unfired American HE AT (High Explosive Anti-Tank ) (INSTRUCTIONAL) Round For The 57mm T15 Recoilless Rifle. Sn O 1144 - O 1144

DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a unfired American Hollow Charge High Explosive Anti-Tank (INSTRUCTIONAL) Round for the 57mm T15 Recoilless Rifle. This gun was used as a ground gun or mounted on a Willis Jeep. This is a superb, original, fully painted and stencilled Instructional round with a brown lacquered perforated steel cartridge case. The projectile body retains all its green paint and yellow stencilling 57 R HE, AT, SHELL M307A1. A pre engraved copper driving band is fitted. The primer is stamped M46B2 8-49 (August 1949) PA – 43 - 16. An alloy nose fuse is stamped FUSE PI M90 over LOT P.A. 366-6 11-48 (November 1948 date). The fuse has the following information struck out P M23E1 LOT A 323 – 1A 6-43 (June 1943 date). The steel lacquered perforated cartridge case is stencilled in white 57MM M30A1B1 1950 (date) LOT FA-4-7 . The brass percussion primer is stamped M46B 2 8-49 (date) PA – 43 – 16 .
