This is a MINT condition WW2 (1942 dated) German 20mm MK 151/20 (20x82) HEI/T (High Explosive Incendiary/Tracer) aircraft cannon round, transit tube and link fitted to various German aircraft during WW2, including the Me109, FW190, various night fighters and bomber aircraft. The round has a brown lacquered steel cartridge case and is percussion primed with a brass primer held in with 3 stab crimps and a black annulus. The cartridge case is headstamped wa (Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG, Abteilung Lampenfabrik) 42 (1942 date) 954 waffenampt 3. The high explosive incendiary tracer projectile retains all of its original yellow painted finish with a green incendiary band under the nose fuse, a red tracer band above the iron driving band together with its original stencilling. The projectile is stamped above the iron driving band dgl (Louis Siegel, Sonneberg in Thueringen. ) 1c43 (1943 date) waffenampt 55. The projectile is stencilled round its circumference in black wa 4c 43 (1943 date) waffenampt 55. The AZ1504 aluminium nose fuse is stamped AZ1504 eec 96 1942 (date) waffenampt. The projectile is sealed at the case mouth with a black coloured sealant. The round is fitted with a pressed steel cartridge link has the manufacturers code H over ca. The round has its original 3 piece cardboard transit tube which has impressed on the top 1942 (date) and a makers monogram of CA. Both projectile and cartridge case have no cracks in the necks.
