INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unused mint Oerlikon KDC (35x228) Testmunition round. The guns are currently in use as towed guns, self-propelled AA guns, mounted on armoured vehicles and personnel carriers, and are placed on naval vessels usually in a twin mount and often radar controlled. This testmunition round has green lacquered steel cased round is headstamped OE 77 557 PSW monogram. The cartridge case is stencilled on the side in black Testmunition WSSB 15 TLP 2317 Ws Ldg. 340g V8 – 1178m/b Temp 15c Rohrbelasting 271 Schuss. The primer pocket is empty, The projectile is a steel single iron driving banded with an alloy nose cone. The dark gray painted projectile is stencilled in white Testmunition WSSB 15.
