INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a Russian DBR-2 base fuze. The fuze has had a quarter section taken out of it to show the inner workings of the fuze for instructional purposes and for bomb disposal team information. The fuze is used in Russian 85mm and 100mm armour piercing tracer (AP/T) and armour piercing, high explosive tracer (APHE/T) projectiles used in the 85mm D44 divisional gun and the 100mm M 1944 anti-tank/field guns. The fuze is armed centrifugally and by setback. The fuze is impact and graze sensitive and is stamped round its circumference SBR-2 and 1-64 (January 1964 date). This is a BDR-2 sectioned base fuze in excellent condition showing the inner workings with the gaine attached. The fuze is of all steel condition and is complete with a display stand with a copper plate nailed to it with DBR-2 engraved on it. The price of this fuze includes UK delivery and no licence is required to possess inert fuzes in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. O 1972
