Create my profile now!INERT DEACTIVATED. This is nice a piece of German trench art which is made using a fired 8cm Skoda shrapnel projectile. The fired projectile and fuse are in excellent condition, the fuse being a Dopp.Z.C/91 which shows little in the way of damage. The projectile has a black painted background finish and has the date in gold above the top driving band 1916. Between the two driving band is painted an Imperial German cross on an oval yellow background surrounded by gold oak leaves with a gold 42 painted underneath. The top of this plaque has an imperial crown surrounded by 6 flags held by two uniformed imperial soldiers. The flags draped from poles are the Imperial German flag with crest, Turkish, Hungarian, Croatia/Slavonia, Lower Austria and Croatia. The fired fuse is a Dopp.Z.C/91 which is in excellent condition. The base of the projectile has cast into it 3 16 (March 1916). The price includes UK delivery and no licence is required to possess this piece of German trench art in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. O 1828
