This is a German WW2 Kz C/27 (Lm) aluminium nose fuze that was used under the ballistic cap of naval shells of the large calibre guns and was activated by a length of wooden rod inserted in its nose. The aluminium fuze action is as a direct action or graze and is stamped W Kz C/27 (Ln) Rh.s.192 1 / 1939 ) January 1939 date) and a Kriegsmarine stamp. Lot RA-9R/ GR.1 round its circumference.
