Description

Late 1800’s / Early 1900’s Continental Form Large Saw Back Forester’s Sidearm / Tool With Stag Antler Grips. Sn 19294 - 19294

This is a large Forester’s Sidearm / Tool in Continental form possibly German made circa late 1800’s / Early 1900’s. It has a 19 ½” long, 2 ½” wide steel blade with 14 ½” deep cut sharp, saw back section. The blade is undamaged and has just staining consistent with age. It has a heavy steel cross guard with langets. The thick Stag antler scales are undamaged & secured by steel rivets. One edge of the hilt tang has a row of 6 hand applied notches. The sidearm measures 25 ¾” overall length. The Forester’s Sidearm / Tool is without scabbard and was probably never meant to have one. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 19294
