The steel barrel decorated and inlaid with much silver & gold decoration and stamped with the makers poinçons at the breech. Iron ramrod pipe, trigger guard and iron butt-cap. In very good condition and working order. This pistol was made at exactly the right period in history to have been carried during the American Revolutionary war 1775-1783, as well as during the French Revolution circa 1789-1799, and into the Napoleonic era 1799-1815. Calibre approx .69 cal. Some very minor dings and scratches. Barrel length 8 inches. Overall length 13 inches. A superb example of a rare Spanish Miquelet pistol in original un-touched condition.
