WWII German M1884/98 3rd Variant Bayonet & Scabbard. BAYO 663. WW2 German M88/98 3rd Model Bayonet & Scabbard Bayonets

This is a good condition example of the German Seitengewehr M-1884/98 3rd Model (Version) for use with the German Mauser k98 rifle. This was the standard issued bayonet for the German military during the World War II era, and the years leading up to that war. With undamaged brown Bakelite grips and blackened blade. It was made by E & F Horster in 1943 and is marked to the blade with their wartime code of 43 asw. There are two Waffenampt stamps to the pommel. The scabbard also carries the Horster wartime code of 42 asw and the number 4641. A nice mid WWII K98 combination. See White & Watts No 296 pages 115 & 133. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 663.
