The crossguard with some coloured enamel decoration. Original matching metal scabbard also with decorated mounts. The blade with gilt panels depicting two mounted knights in a medieval jousting tournament. The pommel showing a 17th century style closed helmet. White decorated grips. The blade also marked with the original owners name "Albert James Accooe Jr." Blade 26 inches. Overall length in scabbard 34 inches. Good condition. Ref 6919
